It is dangerous to be in a church where they don’t believe in miracles. What happens if the only way out of your predicament is a miracle?

I remember one time after service, I noticed that a brother was not looking good, he was really sick, he could barely take some few steps. Upon this I enquired whether he wants to be taken to the hospital or to be prayed for – you have to be sure of what people believe. He said, I should pray for him. I laid hands on him and commanded him to be well. In a matter of minutes, this brother was up on his feet and walked home healthy – returned to church the next Sunday healthy and strong.

Miracles are acts of God, intervening in human affairs – it is the signature of God. Miracles never passed with the Apostles as some section of the body of Christ would have us believe. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He hasn’t changed – what He did in Bible, He is still doing it in these last days.

The reason some churches don’t see miracles is not necessarily the absence of prayer, but unbelief according to Jesus. Most believers don’t truly believe in the supernatural and the miraculous. Faith is the necessary spark for the miraculous. The man who believes in miracles will work wonders.

One time Smith Wigglesworth asked a man who had no legs to go buy a shoe. The man believed and went to the shoe store to buy shoe. The shoe seller was surprised to see a man who doesn’t have legs coming to buy a shoe. By the time he was getting the shoe for this man, this man legs began to grow – that was how this man got new legs – he believed and acted on the word of a prophet of God. Miracles are real.

If you truly believe the word of God, you will receive. When a church begins to believe in miracles and start seeking God in prayer and His word, in no time, they will see miracles.
