SIN CANNOT TAINT YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST

Romans 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. NKJV

I know this topic may be offensive to certain people and in their minds, all that I am doing is to give people a licence to sin. In truth, people really don’t need a licence to sin; people are sinning anyhow without license. Just look around you and you will see how many people are sinning without licence. The way out of sin is grace; and that’s what I am offering you; what I am giving you is the way out of the bondage of sin, guilt and condemnation. I am offering you freedom from religion and the doctrines of men.

Sin cannot taint nor corrupt the righteousness that you have received in Christ. The day you got born again, you were made the righteousness of God, having received God’s own righteousness into your spirit. God made you righteous not because of anything good that you did; His righteousness is a gift that we received at new birth by grace through faith.

This righteousness is an everlasting righteousness that cannot be lost. So, even though you sin, you are still righteous on account of Jesus. How did you become a sinner? None of us sinned to become a sinner; we became sinners not on the account of our actions but on account of Adam’s disobedience. No matter what good a sinner does, he is still a sinner – he is just a good sinner – child of the devil.

On the same token, no matter what sin you commit, cannot taint the righteousness you have received. Many accept the former assertion that I have made; but they do not accept the latter one and I think that is being biased with the scriptures and this is all because of religious thinking and misinterpretation of scriptures.

I don’t believe after hearing this glorious gospel of Christ, you would want to sin. I believe you would rather fall in love with Jesus all over again. This is what I believe and preach; yet I don’t live a lose lifestyle. I am on fire for Jesus.

You must have a firm foundation for your righteousness. Other than that, satan will beat you clean and clear. You are not righteous because of the good things that you do. Just like Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness, you were also made righteous because of your faith in Jesus and what He did in His finished work (Romans 5:1). This is where your faith should rest. Every other ground is sinking sand.
