Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Elijah on Mount Carmel told the Israelites, how long shall you halt between two opinions? A swinging pendulum is unstable.
While our church was on a long fast and prayers, God showed me a scenario: look at the results of fasting and Prayers. Then look at the results of not praying and fasting. Immediately I knew which results I wanted.
Now it is up to you choose the results that you desire. When you engage in fasting and Prayers, the results are walking in power, speedy healing and good health, revelations from God, increased capacity, breaking bondages and yokes, increased spiritual sensitivity, etc.
On the hand, if you don’t fast and pray, the results are fatigue, dullness of heart, insensitive to the Holy Ghost, spiritual weakness, a candidate for satanic oppression, stagnation, etc.
I do believe you like the results of godly living. A godly lifestyle produces purity in your soul and guarantees peace and joy. An ungodly lifestyle of sin produces death and a life far from the ways of God.
When you think about the results on this two sides of the coin, you will choose godly living that pleases God. Make up your mind to choose good results.
