PRAYER BRINGS SALVATION

Psalms 18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Prayer brings salvation. Our opening scripture says, I will call upon the Lord so that I shall be saved from mine enemies.
To call upon God means to pray. And Acts 2:21 emphasizes the salvation that prayer brings: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
When Paul and Silas were thrown into prison for no just cause, at midnight, they prayed and sang praises to God. What was the result?
The prison doors flung opened and their chains and bands broke loose. Hallelujah.
When Peter was locked up in prison by King Herod, there seems to be no way out humanly speaking. But as the church prayed, there was an angelic visitation and Peter was miraculously saved from the evil expectation of the Jews.
If the church will pray, we will see mighty salvation and deliverance in our churches. James said, Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray…….James 5:13
Why pray? For the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16). There is salvation and deliverance in prayer. Make prayer your daily priority and see God’s hand of salvation revealed in your life.
