I read a story that Bishop Dag Heward Mills told about the father. Years ago, the Bishop’s father had a hotel. But unfortunately, the managers were corrupt in their dealings. Guests will check into the hotel but they will not record it in their books, and then pocket the money. It all came to an abrupt end when the Bishop’s father got to know that these clowns were ripping him big time.

He then asked his son, do you know someone who can manage this hotel for me? He said, I know of one person who is honest but has no experience in managing a hotel. The father requested that he bring his friend immediately. When this new manager resumed work, on the first day they made 150% increase in revenue than what those professional thieves were bringing.

I believe we are in the era that people will get job offers and deals not because of their qualifications but simply because of their integrity, honesty and character. Our world today is filled with unscrupulous folks, both within and outside the church. Hardly will you find someone who you can trust with your business and everything will be balanced properly.

Men like Daniel and Joseph are scarce in our generation. As a believer in Christ Jesus, let your light shine before men. Matthew 5:16 says, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

How many folks in today’s world, can their employers leave the business with them for one week and everything will be fine? Joseph was a man that everywhere he went to, his superiors left everything in his care and yet there were no damages. This landed him into the palace of Pharaoh.

Decide today that you are going to be a person of excellence – one who can be trusted. Be a man of integrity; let honesty and integrity guide you.
