Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
The two most important elements of faith are “believe” and “speaking”. You have to have the understanding of how these elements work in the school of faith. If you don’t check what you believe and what you say, you will have a hard time in life.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
According to scripture, you become what you believe. You cannot rise above what you believe. You are what you believe. Whatever you are today can be traced to your belief system. If you don’t like who you are or what you have become, don’t cry; don’t beg; change what you believe; work on your belief system; check the things you have believed over the years and weed out all the thoughts of unbelief that is keeping you down and making your life miserable.
There are those who believe that “whatever will be will be”. This is nonsense! Absolute trash! This is one of the worst belief systems that has kept many in bondage. It makes people passive and weak; it makes void the issue of faith.
There are those who believe that everyone gets sick; that it is okay to get sick sometimes. God wants you in perpetual health. You can be healthy 365 days a year. I have never been to hospital in over 15 years of my life.
The second element of faith is what you “speak” with your mouth. You will always have what you say.
Mark 11:23 ………but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
You cannot rise above your confession. What you have in life right now is what you have been saying. If you don’t like what you have right now, then change your confession. Learn to say the right things concerning your life. Don’t talk death talk; speak life. Train yourself to speak only positive things, the situation you find yourself notwithstanding. Talking negative will only take you down.
Ensure that whatever you believe in life is consistent with the word of God and not the tradition of your family nor what the experts are saying. Then put God’s word on your lips and speak it forth by faith. These two elements when properly used, will put you over in life.
