THE PRICE FOR YOUR SINS WAS OVERPAID BY JESUS

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many.........

The ultimate price of sin is death – eternal separation from God for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

The death of Jesus on the cross was the price for your entire life of sin. And Jesus overpaid the demands and claims of justice. One drop of the blood of Jesus is more than enough to pay for the sins of the entire human race for all generations.

Yet, every drop of blood in Jesus’ body was shed – this tells you that, the price Jesus paid was an overpayment. And this He did in order to remove every iota of doubt in your heart about your salvation.

Every sin of yours was fully paid for at the cross. Now to preach as if we owe God again even when we sin, is an insult to the blood of Jesus Christ, and the work that brought us eternal redemption.

God has nothing against you. He is bringing no charge against you. All charges against you were dropped at the cross where the penalty and punishment for your sins was fully paid for.

You are no longer a debtor to God again. Do not let the devil nor anyone bring you to guilt and condemnation. Assure your heart every day with the knowledge that you have been forgiven and justified by the perfect work of Christ. And certainly, this is not a license to sin but the grace knowledge to give you freedom from guilt and condemnation even when you fail; and to strengthen you in your walk with God.

Even if you are deep in sin, know that God is not condemning you. If you will embrace the grace of God with all sincerity and humility, you will be delivered from every addiction and sin. Hallelujah!
