SET THE TIME FOR YOUR MIRACLE

Psalms 102:13‭-‬14 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust

Too many of God’s folks don’t know how to initiate their miracle or the things they desire to receive from God. Many have waited too long for nothing. If you ever ask them, they will tell you, I am waiting on God. The truth is that God has been waiting for them all this while to initiate their miracle. Now don’t get me wrong; I believe in being patient on the Lord. But waiting for seven years on God in order to be filled with the Holy Ghost is unnecessary.

Several years ago, I attended a youth all-night prayer meeting, where a young dynamic evangelist was ministering. One of the high points of that meeting was a lady who received the Holy Ghost and for the first time in her Christian life, she spoke in tongues. This lady was so excited; it was a dream come true. It is rather unfortunate that these days, this is not the passion of most believers; speaking in tongues means nothing to them.

What struck me in the lady’s testimony was that she had waited for seven years before speaking in tongues. This young lady has gone from meeting to meeting just to speak in tongues but to no avail. Every Evangelist who was in town, she attended his meeting. This is absolutely unnecessary in the New Testament where Jesus had come and died and emancipation has been declared to all men. What was her problem? Ignorance! The Bible says, for lack of knowledge my people perish (Hosea 4:6). What she needed to know was truth.

When you get born again, there is no need to wait for any number of years to speak in tongues because the work is finished. In fact, it does not come by 30 days fasting and prayers. All it takes is a simple act of faith. Ever since I got to know the truth, in a meeting, ten people could come forward and all of them will speak in tongues.

Truth is powerful. If you don’t speak in tongues and you desire the gift, wherever you are, just lift up your hands and say, Holy Ghost, fill me; and go ahead and speak in tongues by faith. Don’t think of what to say; just speak in tongues. That’s all it takes.

There is no need to wait for several years in order to receive your healing like the man at the pool of Bethesda. Jesus has died hence the pool of healing has been stirred already; just jump into it by faith by believing and confessing your healing. There is no special time for your healing.

The set time the Bible refers to is the time that you are ready to receive from God and your faith comes alive. If you need financial prosperity, there is no need to wait. Take your seed and start planting. It is the farmer who determines his harvest time and not God. Start taking steps of faith to set the time for your miracle. Why sit till you let everything around you go down the drain? Arise and initiate your miracle.
