DON'T GO AGAINST THE WORD

Proverbs 13:15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.
There is a way the new creation in Christ Jesus should go; there is a way you should live as a child of God. And that way is the way of the word. If you go against that way, you are headed for the hard life and untold suffering. How far you go in life is determined by how much you obey the things that God speaks to you. God delights in obedience; it is better than sacrifice. King Saul lost his throne because he disobeyed God.
Our opening scripture says, if you want favour to work for you, get understanding; however if you transgress the word, get ready for the hard life. They way of the transgressor is hard. The transgressor can be a child of God, even though born again with the life of God, his way of life is antagonistic to the word of God; his life is always opposite to what the word of God says. Look at what Isaiah said concerning the transgressor:
Isaiah 1:28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the Lord shall be consumed.
What the word is saying is that, the transgressor’s lot shall be the same with the unsaved and sinners of this world. I don’t think that is what you want in life. I believe you want to enjoy this life that God has given to you in Christ Jesus. And the only way to enjoy the abundant life is to follow the word of God; it is doing what the word says, irrespective of how you may feel about it.
I have seen nice Christians destroyed simply because they disobeyed God’s word. There is no use taking a stand against what God has said. Some believers cannot follow simple instructions even given in the house of God. They see everything wrong with divine instructions given in the house of God. If you don’t obey divine Instructions, you will be grounded in life.
If God’s word says attend church, attend the services. If God’s word says to tithe, give your tithe faithfully. If God’s word says believe in the man of God, just do it. If God’s word says walk in love, walk in love; there is no use walking in strife. Obedience to God’s word is the gateway to a life of victory and restful increase. Tremble at God’s word. And do what the word tells you to do.
Job 36:11-12 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
