Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

The higher one goes up in authority, the less he does and the more he speaks. Men in authority don’t do much. If they want anything accomplished, they only speak and it is done. When men of authority speak, people move into action to carry out that word of command or instruction.

It is the same with kings. Kings don’t do much. Whatever they want it done, they only speak. When kings speak, servants move into action. A king is known by his word; you really get to know a king when he speaks; and kings don’t talk anyhow. And where the word of a king is, there is power.

Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

By the blood of Jesus, we have been made kings and priests. Every born-again believer in Christ is a king, his looks and state of life in the natural notwithstanding. There is an aroma that goes with us; we are not ordinary men. We are royals of the kingdom. As priests we offer sacrifices to God; and as kings we speak to alter circumstances.

If you are going to accomplish much in the kingdom, you have to learn to speak; and in this context I mean speaking the word of God in faith for the release of the miraculous. As I relate to Christians from time to time, one thing I see missing is the lack of the knowledge of the operation of faith, especially in speaking. Many have not understood the power of words hence they say nothing or talk trash.

When we speak in faith, angels move into action. From our exalted position in Christ, our greatest work today is “speaking”. Angels only give heed to the voice of God. So when we put the scriptures in our mouth and speak it in faith, they move into action.

If you look at the ministry of Jesus, whatever He needed, all He did was to speak. When He spoke, the storms and the waves ceased; deaf ears were unstopped; blind eyes received their sight; the lame walked and the dead were raised. Start speaking the word into your life and effect the necessary changes you so desire.
