Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Bishop David Oyedepo told a story of one of his relatives who was reported to be insane. When he visited the family he was told about the case. And he asked that they should put the insane fellow into his car and let him see the devil that will enter into his car. They got the mad fellow into his car and madness went back to sender.

There was no need for prayer. It was dominion consciousness that won the battle. The insanity just knew that there was no way it could enter into the man’s car. The devil knows if you are dominion conscious or victim conscious.

When Bishop David Oyedepo got to Canaan Land, the headquarters of their church, back then, the place was a forest and it was the hub of witches; it was one of the most infested places with devils; a lot of demonic activities went on there. But the moment he stepped into that land, all the witches and devils had to vacate because a man with dominion consciousness has happened on the land.

God never designed you to be a victim in life. God never designed you to be a victim of satanic assaults, sicknesses, diseases, poverty, depression, accidents, etc. I can’t imagine myself being oppressed by the devil. How? I walk in “dominion consciousness”. I can’t see myself being sick or afflicted by the enemy. I have a superior mindset given to me by the word of God.

Life is all about taking dominion. It is either you dominate or you are subdued. You have to decide where you belong. I have chosen to be among the brave and tough ones in Christ to harass devils. You are seated with Christ in the heavenly places, far above principality and power, and might and dominion. Walk in this dominion consciousness and subdue your world.
