Pastor Victor
Psalms 78:70-72 He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds: From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance. So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.
God is the one who gives shepherds and Pastors to His people. He leads His people through the Pastors He has placed in the body of Christ. When you join a ministry, you have come under the spiritual leadership of God through the man He has anointed. These are truths you have to know intimately for an effective walk with God.
God chose David to lead and feed God’s people. God chose Moses to bring Israel out of slavery and bondage. Every now and then throughout history, God raised men and women as shepherds for His inheritance. Even though in the New Testament God leads each one of us from our spirit by the help of the Holy Ghost, God still leads His people through His servants.
In life if you are guided, you are blessed. If you are without a guide, you will walk into a ditch for sure. If you don’t need the leadership of your Pastor, God wouldn’t have given you one. After all, one of the ministry of the shepherd to the sheep is to lead for He leads me beside the still waters.
Many are in churches where they don’t believe in the leadership. God will not come down to lead you. The human vessel in that local church is the one through whom God leads you for your prosperity. And Jesus said, if you reject whoever I sent to you, you have rejected me. And if you reject Me you have rejected the One (the Father) who sent Me. So you cannot claim you believe in the leadership of Jesus and at the same time reject the leadership He has given you.
Kindly do the following:
• Learn to cooperate with the leadership of your local church.
• Follow diligently the vision that is shared with you from time to time.
• Obey every instruction you are given.
• Carry out every assignment given to you with joy.
• Flow with the direction of the ministry
• Encourage other members to believe in the leadership of the church
