EMPLOY THE ANOINTING ON THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS

Deuteronomy 28:12 The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand……

God promised to bless the work of your hands. What that means is that God wants the anointing on your work. There is a man in scripture who encountered this strange dimension of the Spirit on the work of his hands. The moment the anointing came upon the work of his hands, everything multiplied in his house within the space of three months. The man’s name is Obededom.

2 Samuel 6:11‭-‬12 And the ark of the Lord continued in the house of Obed–edom the Gittite three months: and the Lord blessed Obed–edom, and all his household. And it was told king David, saying, The Lord hath blessed the house of Obed–edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed–edom into the city of David with gladness.‬‬‬

All this while this man has been labouring but nothing to show for his labour. Then he encountered the ark of God’s presence, and the power of God came upon all that he did, then he experienced great increase. The difference was the anointing that came upon his work – this is the only factor that changed the dynamics. Folks then took the news to king David that Obededom has prospered because of the ark of God. Immediately, David went for the ark and brought it to the city of David. If you will allow the anointing to come upon your work, your news will go around the city about your prosperity.

For most people, what matters to them is business principles. I believe in business principles as the scripture teaches. But I am telling you that having all the business principles and techniques is not enough.

Life is more spiritual than physical; if you don’t win spiritually you will not win physically. And in today’s world of business, it is not only principles that matters; people are consulting all kinds of mediums and powers to stay ahead of the game. Thus as a believer in Christ, you cannot afford to do business without power – it is not safe. You must employ the anointing on your business – this is what will bring the big breaks and preserve the work of your hands.
