RECEIVE HIS STRENGTH IN THE MORNING

Isaiah 33:2 O Lord, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.

I love the way one translation puts our opening scripture:

Isaiah 33:2 Please, Lord, be kind to us! We depend on you. Make us strong each morning, and come to save us when we are in trouble. CEV

This scripture is so comforting! This gives you the assurance to wake up every morning with new strength – you look forward to every morning for new strength, new vitality and invigoration, fresh inspiration from the Spirit. Hallelujah! What a life! God’s arm is His strength. Thus, for God to be our arm in the morning means that God will be our strength in the morning.

This is a reality! So, wake up each day and tap into the strength of God. It is yours; so take it. When you wake up in the morning, turn to the Lord and receive strength from Him as His word has said.

God’s strength is manifested in the morning. Remember His mercies are new every morning. Something special about the early hours of the day. God wants to strengthen you in the mornings so that you will have the strength to face the day.

I believe one should spend the first hours of the day with the Lord in prayer and the word. This will ensure that you are strengthened with might, and armed with wisdom and knowledge to face the day with great confidence.

Draw strength from prayer; draw strength from the word of God in the mornings for a victorious day's activities.
