PREACHING - GOD'S DELIVERY SYSTEM

1 Corinthians 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
God has a delivery system by which He delivers His goodies to His children. There is a way that God works which you have to know in order to be positioned to be able to receive from Him easily. And preaching or teaching of the word is one of God’s delivery system.
A delivery system is a system that is designed to deliver things to people. For instance, the various courier services around the world like DHL, FedEx, EMS are all delivery systems that deliver goods to people around the world. In the same manner, God has His own delivery system. And preaching is God’s delivery system.
For instance, if God wants to heal you, how does it He do it? Psalms 107:20 says, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” So you see that, the way that God heals and sends you deliverance (salvation, prosperity, etc), is by the sending of His word, which is done through the preaching of the word.
Thus anytime you have the opportunity to be in church, when it is preaching time, just know that God is about to deliver and offload His goodies to you. That’s the way the kingdom works. So, if you sleep in church while the word is being preached, you will have no delivery of God’s goodies; if you engage in ungodly chatter while the word is being preached, you are a loser. If you allow yourself to be distracted by worries of life and your business plans, you are a loser. Anything that takes your eyes off the message is dangerous – resist it.
There is no any other way by which people are going to be saved. God has designed that by the foolishness of preaching, your life be saved, blessed, prosperous and healthy. God has tied your destiny to the preaching of the word. The more of the word you receive, the more you are exposed to God’s goodies from heaven. This is why attending church and paying attention to the word taught and preached is so important to your walk of faith.
Also, compliment your attendance to church by getting the tapes and listen to them again and again. People have received their healing while listening to a tape. People have received all kinds of solutions by just listening to a tape. All the souls that have been won all over the world have been as a result of the preaching of the word.
When Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost, 3000 souls were saved. There is power in the preaching of the gospel. After you have prayed, step out and preach the gospel and you will see the power of God in demonstration.
