DON'T PRAY SCATTERED PRAYERS

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

A soldier who is at war and firing bullets anyhow without any target may end up being killed or wasting his bullets. You must have a target before opening fire. This scenario is applicable in spiritual matters concerning the kingdom of God.

There are believers who pray what you will term “ scattered prayers”. They just wake up and pray and pray with no target in mind. By the time they are through praying and you ask them, what they prayed about, they can’t tell you for sure.

Jesus said, you shall say to this mountain – this implies specificity. Faith is like an arrow; you have to direct it to a specific target. If you want healing, you have to pray healing prayer of faith. If you desire healing, and you are praying for financial prosperity, you won’t get well; and even though you are still praying, you may end up dying.

God told Moses to stretch his rod over the Red Sea and divide it. And when he did, the Red Sea parted and Israel walked on dry ground. If he had directed his rod in a different direction, Pharaoh would have come to destroy them, they being God’s people notwithstanding. Where you direct the anointing, that’s where it will go.

When you go to God in prayer, you must have specific things you want to pray about. Don’t just speak in tongues. Mention the very things you desire in a known language; then your faith will come alive and your spirit will get a hold of what you are praying about. Then add speaking in tongues and groanings to it. Direct your faith in prayers and you will produce great results.
