This title is one of the most preached title in the body of Christ; I mean several people preaching this title. I have seen books bearing this same title, The Believer’s Authority, by Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, and Andrew Wommack. I have listened to a series taught by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome on this same title. This tells you the importance of this title to the church.

This is one of the most important teachings in scripture. And if you don’t have understanding of this subject, you will be a victim to devils and satanic harassment. But a knowledge of this truth will put you over devils and the circumstances of life.

The Believer’s Authority is the common authority given to all believers in Christ Jesus. This is different from the spiritual authority given to ministers of God to build the church as revealed in Ephesians 4:11. The believer’s authority was conferred on you the day you got born again.

This authority placed you high above all devils, diseases, hell, death, poverty, oppressions etc. The source of this authority is the name of Jesus. Jesus’ name is on your life. And that name is above all names in heaven, on earth and beneath the earth. Thus all of God’s creation is under your dominion.

You are not a victim. You are satan’s superior officer; one designed to rule the earth for the glory of God. You are not subject to disease, and the afflictions of life. You are supposed to put the devil on the run. Jesus told us to cast out devils.

You need to have this dominion mentality. This is why I tell people that I will be here on earth for a long time. The power to live or die has been given to me; it is not in the hands of the devil. You are the one to determine how to live or die. And I have chosen to live long on earth to dominate this earth for Jesus, till every soul on the face of this earth hears this glorious gospel of Christ.

You already have this authority of Jesus. What you need to do is put it to work. And you exercise this authority by making bold declarations and enforcing obedience. Jesus exercised this authority when He spoke to the storms to calm down and they did.
Receiving the Holy Ghost power helps you to fully exercise this authority. Take your place in Christ today and dominate the earth for Jesus.
