ETERNAL LIFE IS RESURRECTION LIFE

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Eternal life is resurrection life. Receiving eternal life means being raised from the dead. When you lead someone to Christ, what has happened is that you have raised that fellow from the dead – spiritual death.

This superior work of Christ has made us masters over death and the dominion of darkness. Life is greater than death. Since death couldn’t hold Jesus in the grave, neither death has power over you – now that eternal life has taken residence in your spirit man.

Physical death is a product of spiritual death. This is very vital. Spiritual death is the real deal. Physical death is only an offspring of spiritual death. This implies that spiritual death is greater than physical death.

Every human since Adam was born into death. Since the fall, death came upon all men and all things.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

This world is an arena of death. Everything in this world has an element of death in it. This is why you have to sanctify what you eat and use with prayer and the word of God. Hallelujah!

True life is eternal life. The presence of life (vitality) does not mean real life. When death came upon all men they were still physically alive; but we were told by scripture that death came upon all men. This is what you will call alive but dead. Every man alive on earth without Christ is alive but truly dead.

Real death is spiritual; and true life is spiritual. It is only in Christ that one is made alive, passed from death to life. If you are born again, you are alive with God forever more, never to be separated again by sin. Hallelujah!
