1 Thessalonians 2:18 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.

The devil’s job is to attack your destiny so that you will not become what God has destined you to be. He tries to shift you away from God’s perfect plan and will for your life. When Moses was born, the devil entered into Pharaoh to destroy all the male children born at the time. But God had His own ideas – He preserved Moses’ life. He used Moses’ own enemies to take care of him.

When Jesus was born, the devil entered into Herod to destroy His destiny. All the male children under the age of 2 were killed. But because of destiny, God preserved the life of Jesus. When Archbishop Benson Idahosa was born, he was born a sickler, left on a dung hill to die. His father never wanted to have anything to do with him. But God preserved his life.

Kenneth Hagin was sickly when he was very young. But God healed him and he went on to minister for about 70 years of his life in ministry. He touched the world with the revelation of the word of faith. Study has shown that most great men who made a mark on earth had serious challenges when they were young. Don’t take the devil for granted; you will really be shocked if you take satan for granted. You have to know that there is a devil out there whose mission is to destroy you. I am not saying this to frighten you, but to warn you and make you alert in life.

Some of the frustrations you experience in life are not for nothing. These are Satan’s tools to distract you and remove you from God’s destiny for your life. Refuse to be moved. In such moments, stay in fervent prayer and the word. Fill your life with God’s word. Be persistent. Seek the Lord more and more. Prayer is what will keep you going.

Solomon couldn’t become all that God wanted him to become. Demas forsook Paul and went for the world instead. Rehoboam lost the kingdom due to lack of application of godly counsel. God did not design Rehoboam’s kingdom to be disintegrated. Adam could not become all that God intended him to be.

There are demonic interceptors. These are devils sent to frustrate people’s lives. Some people cannot even tell why life has become so hard and difficult for them. Over 90% of man’s problems are caused by devils. If you don’t know that, then you are very ignorant. Take the weapon of prayer against demonic interceptors. Unleash the fire power of heaven and take dominion over the powers of darkness.
