CALLED TO AN EVER SHINING LIFE

Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

The life that God has called us into, is a life of progress and upward movement only. Anything short of that is not God’s will for you. What a life that we have in Christ Jesus!

When the day dawns, its light seems much dimmer. But as the day progresses, the light increases in intensity and brightness, till the sun is at its peak at midday. This is the way scripture describes the life of the righteous man in Christ Jesus.

God never intended for your life to be at one particular spot for ever. You ought to be changing levels from time to time. Your path is one that shines ever brighter and brighter. This implies that your spiritual life, health and finances ought to be getting better by each passing day.

Make up your mind to move forward. I love what Pastor Chris always says: my life is forward and upward only. This should be your testimony. Sometimes you find a believer that have been on one spot for a long time, or has retrogressed in life. Don’t take these things for granted. You ought to attack that backwardness and stagnation with all fervency.

The year 2023 is almost winding up. How far have you gone in your prayer life, word life, involvement in kingdom service, your career and finances? You need to make an honest appraisal of your life and take actionable steps to move your life from glory to glory. Look at the life in Zion: They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God (Psalms 84:7).

If you are already making progress, do not slack. There is always much room to be occupied. If you slack you will take a nose dive. The law of aerodynamics requires that the plane keeps thrusting forward while in mid air. If it stops thrusting forward, it takes a nose dive and crashes. Keep on making progress every day of your life. Keep learning; keep advancing in your prayer life; improve your work and career. What looks successful today may be a failure tomorrow. Thus keep on improving on what you do. And let your life bring glory to God the Father. Hallelujah!
