Psalms 80:17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself. KJV
The hand of God in this scriptural context means God’s power and authority. And the Psalmist said, let your hand be upon the man of your right hand. What does the man of the right hand mean? The right hand man does not necessarily mean the man standing on your right hand side. But it means the man whom authority and power has been vested upon to carry out administrative duties for the king or a man of nobility.
The right hand man of God is Jesus. He is the one that God has vested all His authority upon Him to carry out all the administrative duties of the kingdom. Hebrews 1:3 says, Who (Jesus) being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he (Jesus) had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. [Emphasis Mine]
Ephesians 1:20-22 says, “Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him (Jesus) at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his (Jesus) feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church.” [Emphasis Mine]
It makes no difference what the world and men think of Jesus; He is the right hand man of Almighty God; and God the Father has vested all authority and power on Him.
I once heard Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo saying that, he told his two boys that, I have willed everything I have to my wife; hence if you want anything treat your mother well. It is the same with what God the Father has done to Jesus. He has willed everything to Jesus. And now God is saying, if you want anything, treat my Son well; if you don’t, you will not receive.
This is the reason no one can be saved outside Jesus; you cannot be born again without confessing the Lordship of Jesus. What you need is in Christ. The more you get acquainted with Jesus through the ministry of the Spirit, then you will receive all that God has for you. All hail Jesus the King! Bow down before Him all nations and tongues! Praise Jesus the Lord!
