Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. KJV‬‬‬‬‬

The greatest asset man lost in the garden of Eden was the presence of God. Man lost that sweet fellowship and communion he had with Almighty God. Man in his best state couldn’t reach God. Every now and then God had to come down and have some time with men and then disappear again.

Jesus is God in flesh – God living among men. For a long time after the fall, God was very scarce on earth. Once a while He will appear to some fellow and then leave again. God staying permanently among men was impossible until the cross.

When Jesus came to the earth, He was God in flesh. John 1:14 says, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” KJV

There was no way that man could have found God. God had to come down to our level to redeem us from sin, death and hell. And through the death of Jesus, we have been reconciled to God, never to be separated again.

Today, you have the ever-abiding presence of God. You don’t need to pray for the presence to come. God is with you; what you lost through Adam in the garden has been restored to you through the second Adam, Jesus. You are not alone. The One who is all powerful and only wise God is with you. Thus, you cannot be disadvantaged in life. The presence of God means victory for you. It scares every devil in hell. What you need is presence consciousness.

Everything you ever require in life is accessible through the presence of God. Meditate on these comforting words of Jesus: ….... and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:20) KJV
