TEMPLATES OF THE MIRACULOUS

John 20:30-31 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
There is nothing new under the sun. Whatever you want to do today, someone has done it. Most of the things companies manufacture today are not necessarily original because there are a lot of templates around. Organizations look at these templates and do similar things or just do some minor changes.
A template is a thing that is used as a model for producing other similar examples. A template is a guide to an end; it is a model. It helps you to achieve a particular thing you want to accomplish; it helps you to repeat success. A template reduces stress – it shows you how something can be achieved without going through the rigors of trying to figure out how to invent it. There are templates for payroll, newsletters, gift cards, etc.
The gospels are templates of the miraculous. In it we see how Jesus ministered the miraculous to those who needed it. Today, from hindsight, we can also either receive the miraculous or perform the miraculous by just using the templates in the gospels. So what you need to do is to study all the miracles Jesus performed and how He performed them, and learn from it.
Very often Jesus would require the faith of the people who wanted to receive a miracle. This lets us know that it takes faith to receive a miracle from God. Sometimes Jesus mixed clay and spittle and healed people; sometimes He laid hands on people; sometimes He spoke and folks were healed. Study the way Jesus ministered and you will know how the miraculous works. There is no need to struggle to either receive or perform a miracle today. Just study how Jesus did it; how the Apostles did it; and even how proven men and women of God are doing it in the church today. And you will be on your way to a life of the miraculous.
