FOUR KEYS TO ACTIVATE THE PRESENCE OF GOD

Genesis 39:2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

God’s presence makes for victorious living in Christ. And God’s presence can be activated. And I want to share with you four simple keys to activate the presence of God.

Firstly, “Be conscious of the presence of God”. Your consciousness of God activates His presence. Don’t be sin conscious, neither be devil conscious. Whatever thought you are conscious of and retain, you will eventually attract the spirit behind that thought. Thus the more conscious you are of God, the more you activate His presence in your life.

Secondly, “Do what God tells you to do”. God will not get involved in your project. It is only when you engage in His project for your life that He gets involved. As long as you are pursuing your interest, God will stay aloof.

The third key is _“Joyful living”_. God does not like an atmosphere of sadness and grief. If you are the type of person who is always depressed and unhappy, you will be far from the presence of God. Depression and pity party only invite demons. Psalm 16:11 says, ……In thy presence is fullness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

The fourth key is “Singing His praises”. I have realized that when I engage in joyful praises and worship, God’s presence is activated. Sometimes when I worship and praise the Lord while in prayer, all of a sudden the atmosphere changes, it becomes very heavy, different from while I was just speaking in tongues and praying.

The presence of God is what terrifies hell and causes the mountains and the hills to skip like lambs, and the sea and Jordan to flee (Psalm 114:3-7). When God’s presence is with a man, that man cannot fail. Maintain these keys and you will forever enjoy God’s presence which will make you a prosperous man.
