TOUCH JESUS TO RECEIVE YOUR MIRACLE

Mark 5:27-29 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
Over the years there has been a tremendous teaching on Jesus touching us. Which in essence there is nothing wrong with that. But I believe there has been little teaching on the other side of the coin: us touching Jesus. Jesus touching you and you touching Him are totally different things. While the former connotes Jesus reaching out to us, the latter connotes you reaching out in faith.
Touching Jesus involves a proactive approach to receiving from God; it has to do with an active form of receiving from God. The woman with the issue of blood is a perfect example of one who touched Jesus to receive her miracle. It is interesting to know that Jesus did not even know who touched Him. She was one person among a lot of folks Jesus did not pray for to receive her miracle. She violently reached out in faith and tapped into the omnipotence of Jesus and received her miracle.
You can initiate your own miracle. Instead of waiting to be touched, you reach out in faith and touch Jesus. Power is flowing freely from Jesus every day and all the time ever since the cross. All you need to do is to take steps of faith to receive. Sometimes you don’t have to wait for the preacher to call seed faith before you sow. By your own initiative, just reach out and sow seeds of faith and watch God give you a bumper harvest. What inspired the faith of the woman with the issue of blood was, she heard of Jesus. Make time to hear the word daily and inspire your faith to actively receive from God. Touch Jesus today!
