INVEST YOUR TIME WHERE YOU WILL GET GREATER DIVIDENDS

Genesis 30:41‭-‬42 And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods. But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.

Jacob only placed the rods in front of the strong animals when they came to the waters to mate. When the weaker animals came, he did not put the rod there in front of them.

Jacob invested his time on what gave him greater dividends. If you spend your time on things that don't matter, you will get nothing, and you would have wasted your time.

Discern people that you spend your time with. Don't just invest in people. Get to find out who is ready to grow, hungry for success and the things of God, then invest your time on them; it will pay great dividends.

There are projects that just sucks away your time and energy. Put them on the shelves.

There are people who will just drain you for nothing; no matter what you put in them, nothing comes out of them. Give them money to start a business, and you will not see anything come out of it.

Put them to school, and the next time you find out, they are out on the streets making trouble. These are liabilities to society; don't waste your time and resources on such people. May God help you to know where to invest your time and resources.
