WHEN GOD PREPARES YOU
WHEN GOD PREPARES YOU

2 Chronicles 27:6 So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.
When you allow God to prepare you, instead of hurting people you rather heal them and become a blessing to many. Moses was called by God to lead Israel out of Egypt. But because he did not allow God to prepare him, he made Israel spend 30 more years in captivity. Do the math: Israel was supposed to be in Egypt for 400 years; but they spent 430 years. Moses went ahead of God to redeem Israel by his own power and flesh; and it caused him to go into the wilderness for forty years. He could have used 10 years to learn from the palace instead of 40 years in the wilderness. Your preparation can be at the palace or the wilderness. The choice is yours. When you yield to the Holy Ghost easily and promptly, you will not have to go through some difficult things in order to learn.
Jesus spent 30 years being prepared by God for three and a half year’s ministry. Today, we have turned it around; we spend three years for preparation for 30 years ministry. Years of preparation are not time wasted. Every dream and calling will require years of preparation and isolation. John the Baptist was in the wilderness till his showing forth to Israel.
Luke 1:80 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.
Today, we have a lot of immature pastors behind the pulpit; and they are doing a terrible job by pulling people into the pit instead of pulling them from the pit. Submit yourself to anointed teachers in the body of Christ and get mentored. Get a trusted mentor who can speak into your life. Mentorship will save you years of trouble. Mentorship is your bridge to cross the river full of crocodiles. Let the Holy Spirit mentor and prepare you through prayers and fasting, studying of the word, test of obedience and faithfulness. This will make you to be a blessing, instead of a disaster to the body of Christ. Preparation is a key to greatness.
