Ruth 2:3 TPT So Ruth went to the fields to gather the grain the reapers left behind. It just so happened that she found herself working at the edges of a field belonging to Boaz of the family of Elimelech.
The story of Ruth is a fascinating one that has so many vital lessons. Ruth was a Moabitess who left her homeland to journey with Naomi to Bethlehem.
By her solemn confession and declaration to accept Naomi’s God as her God, she fully placed her trust and life into the hands of Jehovah, the God of Israel. From then on, God was obligated to cater for and guide Ruth
This is one major key in making it possible for God to guide you into your field of destiny. Our opening scripture tells us that Ruth happened on the field of Boaz, the man who later became her kinsman redeemer and brought glory into her life. Only God could orchestrate such happening.
Think deeply into this: of all the fields in Bethlehem where people were harvesting their wheat, it was Boaz (a relative of Naomi, Ruth’s mother in law) field that Ruth found herself. Not only that, if she had happened on that field after Boaz had already come he may not have noticed her. She was in the field at the same time that Boaz visited the plantation and he noticed her as well. Only God could arrange this. Hallelujah!
If you want God to bring you to your field of destiny, you have to put your trust in Him. You will have to constantly pray for God to guide you. This is not a one-time prayer – it is something you will have to constantly pray till you find that place or person of destiny.
And when you place your trust in God to guide you, He takes over. In this instance you don’t necessarily even have to hear the voice of God guiding you. Himself will speak to the paths – He will orchestrate all the circumstances to work out for you till you find yourself at the right place at the right time with the right people doing the right things. Praise God!
