SETTLE YOUR CONTROVERSIES BY THE WORD OF YOUR MOUTH

Deuteronomy 21:5 And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the Lord thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the Lord; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried:
The devil does not have the final say in your life. Man does not have the final word in your life. Our theme scripture tells us that by the word of the priest every controversy and every stroke be tried. In Bible days priests were judges who settled disputes among men. Whatever judgment they passed, it was binding on every man. Their word was final in matters of controversy and disputes. Today in the New Testament, we have been made priests and kings unto our God.
Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
And as priests of God in a better testament based on better promises, you have much more authority to settle the disputes and controversy in your life. When you begin to have this understanding, you will know that it is what you declare that matters, and not what the doctor, banker or the government is saying. This understanding will cause you to take charge of your life and alter circumstances. It implies that you can settle the controversies and disputes concerning your health, finances, job, marriage etc.
Don't sit down and allow satan and his little demons to run your life. Neither let men dictate the circumstances of your life. Much more in the New Testament, you are a king-priest of God. Take charge of your life by speaking God's word to your situation. Stand up and make decrees concerning your situation and it will change. This is why I know I can settle anything concerning my life. And when someone comes to me for prayer, I know that by my word that controversy is settled. This makes prayer exciting.
These are exciting moments in the kingdom of God. But sadly, many of God's people don't know how to settle the disputes of their lives and hence they have become victims of life. You have power to alter circumstances, use it for your advantage. Praise God!
