THE POWER OF PUBLISHING GOD'S WORD

In this context, publishing the word means putting the word in different formats for easy dissemination and spread. It is giving vehicle to the word to move from place to place. This can be done in the form of books, magazines, journals, newsletters, tapes, radio, television, and web formats etc.

God only gives the word. The revelation of the word only comes from God via the inspiration of His Spirit. We don’t manufacture the word on our own – we are given the word by revelation. It is God’s responsibility to release the word because it is His word. We are only recipients and dispensers of the word of His grace.

The word cannot publish itself. As powerful as the word is, it cannot publish itself; someone has to publish the word for others to hear it. The word cannot leap out of God’s mouth to the nations. It will take faithful men who have received the word to make it known to the world.

And it is our responsibility to publish the word. Angels will not come down to publish the word. God gave that responsibility to the church. The word is spirit. Because the word is spirit, it has to be published in different formats in order for people to be able to read or listen to it.

Spirits can be communicated via words. When you read a book, you are in contact with the spirit that inspired the author. When we publish the word, the Holy Spirit who inspires us is behind those letters and words that we speak. Thus when men comes in contact with our materials, they are able to encounter the Spirit that birthed those revelations. People need to hear the word. The word published carries the same power as it was spoken. Publishing is God’s wisdom to humble the enemy.

It will take huge sums of money to publish the word. Publishing the word cost money.
