1 Kings 18:46 And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

The anointing brings speed. Elijah outrun the chariot of King Ahab which was the best chariot in the whole of Israel at that time. There is no way an ordinary man could have achieved that. And from Mount Carmel to Jezreel was about 7 miles. This was not a sprint but a marathon. Yet Elijah, a man with like passions as we are, outrun the chariot having no training in sprinting.

This can only be by the power of God. Scripture is clear on this that it was the hand of God. You have to learn to trust the anointing of the Spirit. Leaning on the arm of the flesh will not profit you. It is wisdom to trust in the anointing.

By the anointing of the Spirit, a disease that would have taken a surgical procedure and many days afterwards to heal, can be healed instantly without complications nor side effects. I do not know what you will call that but that is speed.

The same anointing that brings speed in the healing of a man can bring speed in the financial prosperity of a man.

The anointing can shorten your prophetic distance. One encounter with the anointing of the Spirit can shift your life forward many years. You don’t have to crawl in life. Let the anointing carry you in life.

Discern the anointing on a true man of God’s life and connect to it by your faith. It has the ability of bringing real progress into your life. Also, spend time praying till the anointing rests on you strong.

What could have taken 10 years to accomplish, the anointing can make it happen in a year. Don’t despise the anointing. Trust the anointing. Yield to the anointing.
