PITCH UNDER ANOINTED LEADERSHIP

Numbers 33:9 And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.

Our opening scripture is about Israel's journey from Egypt to the promised land. When they got to a place called Elim, there were 12 wells and 70 palm trees, and there they camped. The numbers 12 and 70 means anointed leadership. This implies that Israel camped and pitched under anointed leadership. This is what we are supposed to do as believers; we are to pitch our tent under anointed ministries.

People say, the anointing makes the difference. The truth is that the anointing is really the difference. Without it ministry will be greatly difficult. This is what every minister should pursue with every passion and zeal. Without it you're sunk as a minister of the gospel.

You cannot just sit under every kind of ministry; it must be an anointed God-ordained ministry. You have to ensure that the local church you attend is an anointed one; a place where the anointing of God is working mightily. If you sit under a dry ministry where they only shout, you will not make serious progress in life. The anointing is what gives you the lift and speed in life.

Something powerful happens to you when you sit under anointed ministrations. I tell my members that if you regularly attend services like ours (because you will be sitting under the anointing), you cannot come up with certain kinds of sicknesses and diseases, your life will be from glory to glory.

Something happens even to your body while you sit under this anointed ministrations; the anointing opens your understanding to the word you are taught; it brings the word alive in you; you receive an ability to put what you hear to work.

I counsel you today to only sit under anointed ministries; either in a local church or a tape or book you might be listening and reading respectively.
