SICKNESS HAS BEEN DEFEATED

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

When I look at the many things folks struggle with, one may wonder if Jesus ever came to this earth, suffered, died and rose again the third day as victor over all powers. There is no reason for the things that we struggle with today in the church. I think one major reason we struggle with certain things is that we have not grown above those things.

Those of you who are adults, you remember when you used to struggle to write letters and numbers. But today writing those things means nothing; it is not even worth a test to you today. I hope by now you are getting the message! We are supposed to outgrow certain things in life.

Sickness is not our problem. Every sickness has been defeated completely and paralysed by Jesus. Jesus’ back was ploughed for your health. That's the price for your health; very expensive. There is no sickness under heaven which has not been defeated by Jesus. Hence sicknesses of any kind are not supposed to rule over us. We are not subject to sickness; we are superior to sickness and disease.

Unfortunately, many in the body of Christ are under the whiplash of sickness, suffering unnecessarily. The price has been paid already; there is no need for the suffering. You have to believe and confess this simple truth. Pastor Deola of Christ Embassy once said, _“Sickness is a mirage.”_ So true! There is no just reason for the new creation to be sick anymore. I see your struggle with sickness terminated in Jesus’ name.

Get into the word and energise yourself for the release of faith. Take scriptures concerning healing and meditate on them till it releases its life in you. The word of God is medicine to your body. Also, you can partake of the Lord’s supper continuously and release your faith for healing. Remember everything you need is in Jesus. When you take the Lord’s supper, release your faith for healing and health and you will be strong and whole. Hallelujah!
