STOP YIELDING TO THE DEVIL

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Jesus said, All authority is given to me. It is not “some authority” but “all authority”. This implies that satan has nothing left. The devil has zero power. Anywhere you see the devil operating, it is man that has empowered him to do what he is doing. Man by his words and actions can greatly empower the devil to cause great havoc.
The devil cannot do anything in your life without your consent or cooperation. The devil is not that mighty fellow most people ascribe him to be; he has zero power. His only weapon is lies and deceit. When he came to Adam and Eve, he could not force them to bow to him; but he deceived them into yielding to him. This was simply because he did not possess the power to force them into submission. How could he? Not possible. As at that time, Adam was functioning as the god of this world.
The problem we have today is not an authority problem but gross ignorance of the authority of the believer. Many church folks don’t have the understanding of our authority in Christ. This is evident in the way they pray and approach life. They pray like, Lord, if it be your will heal this person. They say things Iike, we don’t have any power; I am just an old sinner saved by grace; the devil made me do this. Many believe satan is such a powerful being and has ignorantly ascribed so much power to this fallen and defeated being. This is all nonsense!
The devil does not have any power to force you to do anything. What you need to do is to stop cooperating with him. The devil does not make anyone to do anything. He never holds anybody’s hand to steal, murder or destroy. It is rather, he gives them wrong thoughts, and when they buy into it, then they carry out his plans. The day we stop cooperating with the devil, he ceases to have any influence over us. You can decide to stop cooperating with the devil. Yield to God’s word today and stop buying into satan’s lies!
