BE YOUR OWN PROPHET

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

One time God commanded the Prophet Ezekiel to be a prophet to the dry bones in an open valley. To prophesy in this context means speaking words of faith under the inspiration of the Spirit. Prophecy has two sides: forth telling and foretelling. In this subject we will be dealing more with “forth telling”.

What the Prophet Ezekiel did to the dry bones is a typical example of “forth telling” – He spoke to the bones. And when he did, flesh and breath came upon the bones.

You can be your own prophet. This is one of the blessings of the New Testament. You don’t necessarily have to wait on any prophet before you start prophesying to yourself.

Instead of speaking negative things to yourself, look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself, this man is the healthiest guy on the block; I am going somewhere to happen.

Sometimes just lay hands on your head and speak to your body and bless it. You don’t have to wait to be sick before you learn how to speak to your physical body. Even if you are not sick, still speak to your body. Speak life and vitality to your body. Tell all the cells and organs and systems in your body to function well and optimally.

Speak the word over your children. Speak to your business to prosper. Speak advancement to your career. Speak to your bank accounts; speak to your MoMo account; speak to your phone numbers to receive better phone calls; speak to your mail to bring you better messages; speak to your fridges not to be empty.

Speak to your shoe racks and clothes hangers not to be empty. This may sound weird but it is the wisdom of God to put you over the circumstances of life. It is one of the mysteries of dominion.

Jesus spoke to nearly everything. He spoke to the wind and storms, He spoke to a tree and it died, He spoke to corpses and they came back to life, He spoke to missing limbs and they grew back. Hallelujah.
