JOIN WITH THE HOLY GHOST TO PRAY PERFECT PRAYERS

Rom 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

The content of your prayer is vital; if it is full of rubbish, heaven does not respond. Heaven only respond to prayers that are consistent with Christ's redemptive work. Our human vocabulary does not have what it takes to truly commune with God effectively. It is totally bankrupt when it comes to spiritual communication. This is why we need supernatural help when it comes to prayers. And this help has been made available for us by the help of the Holy Ghost.

According to John 16:7, the Holy Spirit is our helper. He is here to help us through life’s issues. This is one reason why the believer in Christ cannot be disadvantaged. The Holy Ghost gives us supernatural advantage over the world. This is why I believe that the smartest and most successful people in this world should be believers.

From our opening scripture, we are told that the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses for we don’t know what we ought to pray. Here the Spirit is dealing with the content of our prayers.

We may know how to pray, but what to pray at certain times of our lives, we do not know. Sometimes you may be faced with a challenge, and you don’t actually know what to even pray. When you cooperate with the Holy Ghost, you will be able to pray perfect prayers that guarantee answers.

The word “helpeth” in our opening scripture is from the Greek word *“sunantilambano”*, which means to take a hold together or cooperate. It means joining forces with the Spirit against an opposition. It is not one alone but together.

And the Spirit helps us with groanings and deep sighs which cannot be uttered. Human words cannot explain this groanings. At prayer peaks, this groanings comes to us with deep sighs. In such moment, let yourself lose for the Holy Ghost to pray through you to make perfect intercession for you.

Spend more time speaking in tongues; this will help you to quickly get you into the realm of groaning. These are things you have to initiate them; they don’t fall on you like a seizure. At this realm of groaning, there are no human words to explain what is being expressed by the Spirit.

However, let it flow even when your mind does not know what is being expressed. Take a hold together with the Spirit to pray perfect prayers, because He knows the mind of God and makes intercession for the saints according to God’s will.
