CONSECRATION - KEY TO KINGDOM GREATNESS

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. KJV

Humility, consecration and surrender is the way of kingdom greatness. Have you made Jesus your Lord? You are not truly into enjoying life until you have made Jesus the Lord of your life. Have you come under the government of His Majesty? Or you are the one ruling your life? Have you consecrated your life to Jesus?

This is vital. You have to know that Jesus is King; apart from being your Saviour, Jesus is your King; which means He is your Lord. And Lord means owner. Jesus owns you; you are not of yourself. It has not been given to you to direct your own path.

At new birth you receive the life and nature of God and then you are born again. But after that you must come to the place where you fully surrender your will and life on the altar of sacrifice for the Lord. This is a place of death, where you are no longer the one running your life. At this point in your life, the only thing that matters to you is to do the will of the Father; your will ceases at this time and the will of the Father takes over.

God as a King, His word is final in authority; there is no argument. It is either His way or not at all. Oswald J. Smith said, “Jesus must be Lord of all or not Lord at all.” It must be His way and not your way.

You must always be seeking to know His will for your life and be ready and willing to walk in it. This is true life. John 4:34 says, “Jesus said, “My food is to do what the One who sent me wants me to do and to finish his work.” NCV
