SPEAK THE BLESSING OVER YOUR CHILDREN

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Your words have power; and in the realm of the spirit, it is all about words. Your life goes in the direction of your words. The world is governed by words. God is holding all things together by the word of His power. His word is what has determined the boundaries of the sea and rivers. And He has set up the world to be ruled by words. Hence if you are not skillful in the use of words, you are in trouble.

It is a statistical fact that many of the people who have won the Nobel prizes over the years are Jews. Unfortunately, many have thought that their secret is as a result of hard work. Of course hard work is important in the school of success; but the secret of the success of the Jews lies in what their fathers did to them.

In many Jewish homes, during the Sabbath while the family is at a meal, the father will lay hands on each child and bless them; they will speak words of blessings over their children and the entire family. This is what has been one of the success secret of the Jewish race; and Zuckerberg of Facebook is one of them.

Sadly, many believers don’t know this ancient but timeless truth which can alter the destinies of our children. Words have power; there is life and death in your tongue. The things you speak over your children is important; that’s what determines the happenings in their lives. It is more important than everything you do for them. You can’t speak negative things over your children and expect a glorious outcome. That’s not possible.

If there is one thing I do a lot for my children, it is laying hands on them and speaking the blessing over them. I do it all the time. Sometimes while they are asleep, I just go near them and speak blessings over them. On their way to school, I will tell them you have the anointing of Daniel and you are ten times better than your peers. How can your children compete with children whose parents are speaking the blessing over them?

According to Mark 11:23, you will have whatsoever you say. Whatever your expectations are concerning your children, start speaking it over them. This ancient truth I am sharing is better than giving your children houses and properties. This is what will make them a success. Don’t speak negative things concerning your children no matter what you may see in the flesh. Keep talking the blessing over them and you will see the manifestation. Hallelujah!
