PRAISE DRIVES OUT AND REPELS DEVILS

2 Chronicles 20:22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
Praise both drives and repels devils. It drives out devils implies that when devils are in a particular location and you introduce the element of Praise, they immediately check out from that environment.
The devil and his cohorts do not like an atmosphere of Praise. The devil dislike the act of God receiving praise and worship. This is what he craves. Thus when he sees it being given to God he cannot stand its presence.
Praise repels devils as well. This means that when an environment is filled with praise, it is difficult or even impossible for demons to invade such atmosphere. Praise is like bullets and missiles released that repels forces of darkness.
When king Jehoshaphat and Judah sang praises to God, God laid ambushment against the three nations that came out against them.
They did not lift up a sword. All they did was to lift up a praise. And when they did, God’s sword was lifted against the enemies of Judah.
Sometimes all you need to do is to stop praying and start praising – lay down the sword and lift up a song.
