Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

When God commanded Abraham to offer his only son Isaac on the altar in one of the mountains of Moriah, he obeyed God irrespective of the consequences. Abraham put God first. He went against his own will and chose to obey God.

It wasn’t an easy decision. But the man chose to obey God. After waiting for 25 years for the promised son, when the son finally came, God asked him to offer him as a burnt offering. In the mind of Abraham Isaac was dead and God has raised him back to life.

You must live your life absolutely dependent on God. If you believe God is your number one, you will seek to obey Him in all things and at all times.

In life there will be times where you will have to choose between you and God, men and God, your career and God, ministry and God, flesh and God.

You have to make up your mind that no matter what in this life you will choose God any day any time, no matter the consequences.

When Joseph was presented with the temptation between Potiphar’s wife and God, he chose to please God instead.

Until you attend to God, don’t attend to other things. The principle is God first, then other things. If you choose other things first before God, you are breaking the divine the order. And he that breaks the hedge the serpent will bite.
