SETTING THE RIGHT TONE FOR A GREAT DAY

Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
You can always have a great day – this is God’s will in Christ Jesus for you. In Christ there are no bad days.
Remember God created the day and the night. If God did, then the day and night can only be good because, in the beginning God saw that all that He made was good.
The way you begin your day will go a long way to determine how well your day goes – it set the tone for the rest of the day.
The main key that determines a great day is beginning your day with the Holy Spirit in prayer, praise and reading and meditating on the word of God.
The first thing you do when you wake up in the morning, very often sets the tone for the rest of the day. This is the principle of the Firstfruit Offering – the first impacts the rest.
Just like Jesus did in our opening scripture, the moment you wake up and your legs hit the floor, start speaking in tongues and declaring God’s word over the day. Then read at least a chapter of scripture and meditate on it.
By this simple exercise you have set the right tone for the day. Jesus will wake up early to go to a quiet place and pray. Thus when the day came, He was empowered for work.
