EXERCISING KINGLY POWER

Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

It is where the "word" of a king is, there is power. It is not where the "work" of a king is, there is power. The king’s power is his word; his work is speaking. We rule by words as kings in Christ Jesus. The emphasis therefore is the "word" of the king and not his actions and deeds.

Kings exercise authority through speaking. Their words are what they use to govern their kingdom. Without words, they are not ruling; without words, they are not reigning. You reign in Christ as king by the words that you speak. This means that to reign over diseases, poverty, depression, wickedness, the devil and every evil, it’s going to be by your words. To walk in prosperity, blessings, joy and happiness, it is going to be your words.

And where the word of a king is, there is power. Power to do what? It is power to make things happen; it is power to make that which has been spoken to be carried out or to be manifested. And when a king speaks, no one can dare question his authority.

When kings speak, servants go into action. Kings don’t really do anything. Whatever they want accomplished, they only speak and it is done. You are a king in Christ Jesus. And your authority is exercised when you make faith and bold declarations by the Spirit.

And when you speak angels move into action to carry out whatever you have spoken. When you speak, in the realm of the spirit, people, circumstances and conditions are set in motion for that which you declared to come to pass.

So, you see, if you are not saying anything as a king, it means that nothing is really happening in your life. Exercise your authority in Christ by speaking the word of God in faith and see miracles happen in your life.
