DON'T BE CONSCIOUS OF THE DEVIL

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

One of the deceptions that satan has used over the years against the church is “demon consciousness”. I tell you that the majority of the body of Christ are more conscious of the devil than they are of Christ.

These are the people who spend countless hours just dealing with some demon or some little witch. Most of their prayers are all about the devil. This implies that without the devil, they don’t have a prayer point. Check through the New Testament and you will see the kind of prayers that we are supposed to pray.

Ephesians 1:17‭-‬18 says, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.”‬‬‬

Of course I believe in praying against satanic works; there is a place for that. But when it becomes our way of life, and every meeting is not complete until we pray against the devil, then there is a big problem; the devil is not Lord. Jesus is Lord! Thus, our meetings should be “Christ centered” instead of “devil centeredness”.

If you are “demon conscious”, your life will never be alright. Your life will be full of fear and torment and disturbances; I can guarantee you that. What I am sharing with you is serious. And you must check it and watch against it. The strongholds the Bible speaks that we should war against are in your mind and not devils in some waters or trees somewhere.

The devil uses wrong thoughts and imaginations to destroy more people than anything. The devil cannot execute his works in your life until you have accepted his lies (wrong thoughts). Hence, he seeks to perpetuate his lies and wrong teachings. One of his strong lies are wrong teachings in the church. This is why you must know the word of God in truth to counter the devil’s deceit and lies.

Why should you spend your time on an enemy who has been defeated? The devil is a defeated foe; and there is nothing he can do about his defeat. Jesus defeated him over 2000 years ago and he remains defeated all through eternity. You have more power and authority than the devil. Walk in your dominion consciousness in Christ.
