WHAT ARE YOUR PERSUASIONS?

2 Timothy 1:12 …… for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

You cannot just be living your life on Earth as believer in Christ just like that; you must believe something. What I mean is that there must be revelations of scripture that you have come to believe them strongly and your life is founded on them. Luke calls it “the things that are most surely believed among us”.

What have you believed concerning long life? I tell people, I will be here for a very long time; I have seen it in the word and my faith have taken a hold of it; it is part of the covenant. What have you believed concerning divine protection? What have you believed concerning divine health? What have you believed concerning divine prosperity? What are your persuasions of life? What are your convictions in life?

You will eventually become what you believe. What you have believed is what forms a shield of protection around you, that even in your sleep you will still whip the enemy. What you believe is what determines what comes to you. What you believe is what determines the happenings of your life – nothing just happens.

Personally, I just know that I cannot fail. In fact, one time God told me, you cannot fail. This has been my mentality and walk of faith. You must believe. You must have persuasions based on the word. Don't live without faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).

There are so many believers whose lives are not founded on the word of God – they are just living – they will rather roll with worldly doctrines. And by the time their lives are headed in the wrong direction, they wonder what in the world is happening! No one expects a harvest during harvest time if he did not plant anything. And in life if you don’t plant anything, something will grow, very often, what you don’t like.

Your life must be built on persuasions based on scripture. Paul said he is persuaded that God is able to keep that which he has committed to Him. What are you persuaded of concerning areas of your life? Get into the word and start building godly persuasions through active meditation and confession of faith, that will bring you immense rest.
