Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Prayer is not something that you do once a while. Prayer is a spiritual exercise that must be done daily. Praying daily gives your consistency and increases your mileage in the spirit.  Archbishop Duncan Williams once said, prayer is a daily necessity for daily survival.

As new creations in Christ Jesus, we are called to a life of prayer. Priests in the Old Testament were to offer incense in the temple on a daily basis. They were told to keep the fire on the altar burning always.

Your life is like that altar in the Old Testament. It must be on fire all the time. And for that to happen you must engage in daily prayers.

Find a suitable time in each day where you can have adequate time in prayer. And even while you are engaged in other matters during the day, you can still be speaking in tongues under your breath – this will ensure you pray at all times and everywhere.

If you find it difficult to pray, ask God for the grace to pray. And then exercise yourself to pray. Whatever thing that is stopping you from praying is that thing that wants to destroy you.
