VICTORY BEGINS IN YOUR MOUTH

Proverbs 12:14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.

You have to know that victory begins in your mouth. You win with your mouth. If don’t win with your mouth, you will never see the victory in your bank account, health, marriage, business, ministry, etc. What your mouth cannot handle, your hands cannot handle it.

According to our opening scripture, your satisfaction is in your mouth. The NIV puts it this way: From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things, and the work of their hands brings them reward (Proverbs 12:14) NIV. If you want to enjoy life, then, watch the things you say. I began this article by saying that your victory is in your mouth. The opposite of it is true: defeat also begins in your mouth.

You are not losing because of a particular government in power. You are not broke because the economy of your nation is bad. None of these factors, as important as they may seem to be, is your problem. Your biggest problem is your mouth. If you can tame your mouth to say the right things, you will never know defeat in life.

The words that you speak is what creates the circumstances, opportunities, situations and conditions around you, which eventually determines the outcome of your life. The power of life and death is in your mouth and not your boss at work or your business competitors.

From today, condition yourself to say only the things that are consistent with redemptive provisions in Christ Jesus. Talk health to your body; call forth your financial abundance; bless your business with your mouth; if you don’t have a job, create one with your mouth.

I know this may sound crazy to some people. To them if you want a job, go look for one. Of course you will go look for one. But before then and while you are on the search, create the kind of job you want with your mouth; it has to begin in your mouth. And when you win in your mouth, no devil in hell can stop your victory. It is just a matter of time, and your victory will show forth.
