THE NEW CREATION IS THE OFFSPRING OF THE WORD

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

The new creation is the offspring of the word. The word of God is what produced the new creation. Thus the life of the new creation is from the word of the living God. The word of God is the incorruptible seed that is responsible for the new birth. The new creation is more than a man; he is the word that has put on flesh.

And if we are offsprings of the incorruptible and imperishable word, then we are indestructible. This is one beautiful thing about the new creation. There is nothing that can destroy the new creation. The life in us is an imperishable life. No demon hatched out of hell should be able to destroy us.

Someone may say, but I know a lot of believers who are being destroyed. I also believe that; but it does not change what the scripture has said concerning the born again believer in Christ. The day you got born again, the indestructible life of God was imparted into you.

The only reason you see new creations being destroyed is not because they are not indestructible, but due to their ignorance. God’s people are destroyed not because they are not incorruptible, but simply because they lack the knowledge of the word of God.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..............

The day the believer begin to learn about his inheritance in Christ through God’s word, he becomes unstoppable; the indestructible life in him is set in motion and he will be able to tame the forces of darkness. You should not be destroyed by any disease, accident, death or any plague of any kind. The new creation is superior to all evil in this world.
