DELIVERANCE THROUGH THE WORD

Psalms 119:92 Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

There is a way out of every trouble and predicament under the sun. And the way out of your trouble is the word of God. There is no trouble or problem that is beyond the word of God. Every problem has its solution rooted in the word.

But the key in releasing the power in the word to bail you out of your trouble is “delighting in the word”. Our opening scripture says, Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. The man got out of his trouble because he delighted in the word of God.

If you don’t delight in God’s word, you will never know it. And if you don’t know the word, your liberty is not guaranteed. The liberty you enjoy is proportional to the revelation of God’s word that you have. Psalms 119:45 says, And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

God’s power is wrapped up in His word. Real deliverance is by the word of God for He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction (Psalm 107:20). Many die and perish for want of the knowledge of the word of God. They have been told that their deliverance is in the word, and yet they will not seek to know the word.

I bless God for bringing certain men of God to my path early in my walk of faith. And by the things that I have learnt from their teachings, it has delivered me from so many evils.

For instance, I don’t worry about death because I know that I am far superior to death and all its accompaniments. When Jesus rose from the dead, I came out together with Him and broke the power of death. What I have now is resurrection life. I will decide the day I will check out from this earth. This philosophy can only come from the word. And by that revelation I have been delivered from death and sickness and all evil. Praise God!
