JESUS RETURNED IN THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT

Luke 4:14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

Jesus received the Holy Spirit at Jordan when John the Baptist baptized Him in water.

But it was until He went into the wilderness, fasting for forty days and forty nights, then He returned in the power of the Spirit. Then His fame spread abroad.

Receiving the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is not enough – that’s just the beginning of your walk in the supernatural. Like Jesus, you will need serious investment of prayers and fasting in order to walk in power of the Spirit.

There are many believers in Christ who just received the Holy Ghost and that’s it. They have never made serious investments in prayer and fasting. Yet, they wonder why their lives are dry with no evidence of the Spirit and the supernatural in their lives.

The power of God rests strong on you when you spend a great deal amount of time in prayers. Refuse the dry and the weak life. Make prayer and fasting a consistent practice in your life, and you will truly walk in power and work miracles.

It’s wisdom as a believer in Christ to have scheduled times of prayer. You must have at least one day in the week to observe fasting and prayers. Your moments of seclusion with the Holy Spirit is what gives you power in the market place of life.
