Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

If you don’t read this scripture in context, you will not appreciate it that much. So, let us look at it in context: Ephesians 3:8‭-‬10 says, Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: 10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Apostle Paul says that, his intention of preaching the gospel is to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, so that the church will teach the principalities and powers the many-sidedness of the wisdom of God.

The devil we are dealing with is the father of lies and deception. Every deception you see is from satan. Sometimes when you see how men could craft certain level of lies that are so hard to detect, you get amazed. The brain behind that deception is the devil. He is the father of lies; and his greatest weapon is deception.

When he comes against the church, what he uses is deception. He deceives people into thinking that God is mad and angry at them for some sin they might have committed; he deceives people into believing that God doesn’t heal all the time; he deceives people into thinking that until you are good God will not bless you; he works through a brother to sow discord and confusion in the church. The divisions you see in the church are caused by the devil. Be wise and avoid things that causes divisions in the church.

Our preaching and teaching is to make all men see the truth of the gospel. This is vital! It is only truth that can dislodge the enemy. Truth is what counter lies. Thus we have to know the truth of God’s word like never before so that we can deal with all the lies and wiles of the enemy.

The divine intent of God is that the church will become wiser through the teaching of the word. And as we become wiser by the word, we will be able to teach devils the manifold wisdom of God; we will put satan where he truly belongs, under our feet. This is God’s intent for the church. God wants you and I to be so wise that, we become too much for the devil to handle; his lies and deception will no longer have any power over us.
